Lauraneato: don't read the first para of this description! spoilerz!
I am just too bloody clever with these titles, haha..... I noticed that no matter how long Luffy and his crew sail the sea, their hair never grows or changes. I mean, they even had the same styles when they were kids with the exception of Franky, whose hair just became more super. This is my explanation: seagoing hairdressers. I don't think Chopper needs or wants a haircut.
I actually thought this picture was going to be a disaster because the original drawing was kind of crappy and I started inking over it which just made things worse, so I just took another piece of paper and traced it while making improvements. I didn't want to risk another bad inking job so I left it in pencil. I still thought it wouldn't be any good because it had a lot of technical problems with perspective and anatomy and I was just going to color it flat but seriously, the color worked wonders. I totally like it despite its faults. I really need to work on being a more technical artist.
rofl oh man, I had to actually cover the paragraph with my hand. Thank you so much for warning me!!!!! That was so considerate of you : D
rofl ok so now that I didn't read the paragraph, I don't entirely get the joke. Are they asking for the same haircut as before? Even though it's kinda over my head, I still think it's funny, and you did a marvelous job with big guy, deer guy, and miss all sunday ; ) at least, I THINK Robin is all-sunday. I haven't read enough to know.
Okay so I went against my own advice, and tried to look up scanlations of it on onemanga, so I didn't have to actually download a bazillion chapters. Unfortunately, the onemanga scanlations start in the 400s, and I'm nowhere even close to that. I'm right at the part where they see the island where the deer doctor guy is. From the manga preview for the next volume, it said that Nami is about to get very sick or something. So yeah... I'm ALLLL the way back there with the plotline. Even if I were to read the scanlations, I honestly have no idea how I'd be able to catch up in any sane amount of time D:
I have 6 weeks in Prague, where I won't be able to get my hands on any english manga books... I was saving Prince of Tennis for it, but now I'm reconsidering my options.... because I know, if I don't read One Piece, everything is gonna get spoiled for me sooner or later : /
oh doh, I'm such a moron and didnt read the title. okay so they're all getting a crew cut! I still don't get why, but at least that answers that question XDDD
Oh, sorry, that was in the first para. I was commenting on the fact that their hairstyles never change no matter how long they've been sailing. They must get regular haircuts....
Some peoples' hair just doesn't really change. :^| It's really strange. Mine's like that; it's always the same length & everything, even when I look at pictures of myself as a kid.
Seagoing hairdressers. X3
I can only imagine how that works for a living.
-- Goku: Hwoo! I...I feel so light...it's like I'm not even here! Ha haah! Hoo Hoo hoo! I'm a feather!!! A strong feather! I bet I could handle kaio-ken x10!

if you're still in alabasta, you're waaaaayyy to go, i'm 100 episodes after alabasta atm (anime wise), and still have 50+ to catch up with.
it is really worth it imo, althought the skyepea arch (right after alabasta) is pretty weird at first, it gets interesting with the fights.
