This was supposed to be just a fun pic on the side while I was doing commissions but somewhere along the line it started becoming "serious business CG" and well, this is the result. It still has a bit of the sloppiness that I intended but stupidly enough, I got neater as I went along. I never know how to keep it fresh.. Overall though I think it's pretty cool, just way too intense for a spoof (hard to avoid when doing anything TTGL related) Maybe I could fix it up a little more and sell it at Otakon or something.

I know I said no crossovers but I meant in terms of DB/OP so this doesn't count. The whole thing is based off Franky's similarities to Kamina but then I thought of how some of the other OP characters related and it just kept growing.....

so...

Franky= Kamina Duh... but to go into more detail they're both crazy gang leaders with big brotherly attitudes and a strong belief in the human spirit. I think you can pick up on the appearance points by yourself.

Luffy= Simon Not much in common here except that they're the main characters and are deeply influenced by their childhood idols.....meh

Chopper= Boota At first I thought this was a terrible fit but I guess it they're both the brown furry mascots, and ....

SPOILER!!!! DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED: Boota does have that human evolution scene which sort of matches Chopper's devil fruit ability.

Nami= Yoko Skanks. j/k

Zoro= Leeron He's so manly that I just had to make him the gay guy. Besides, he's got the short cropped green hair.

Usopp= Attenborough This was a pretty good match I think. Both specialize in cannons and are quite high strung, not to mention the distinctive noses....

Robin= Adiane (sp?) Just an appearance thing really.

Sanji =Viral Also for appearance, funny that his hair covers the opposite eye though.

Vivi= Nia uhh... they're both princesses that join up with ruffians for the sake of their ideals? I dunno.

Brook= Dai Gurren Dan symbol He's a freaking skeleton.


Wow, I feel like such a nerd right now. Anyway, If you haven't seen GL yet I highly recommend it. It's one of my favorite shows ever and you know how picky I am....
