No real reason for the engrish-y title. I am declaring this as far too ambitious for my limited marker skills. This seemed like a really cute idea at first, I wanted to do a background for once and I like jungles (probably because I've never actually been in one) but then I realized that jungles have trees and flowers and animals and I can't draw any of those things worth shit! You can't imagine how many times I had to erase the front legs of the tiger and deeply ponder my animal reference book, and it still doesn't look right! After that I whipped out the copics and turned out this muddy and indistinct abomination. I don't think I was really able to create enough different hues for the plants so they all just melded together. I had to go back and thickly outline the figures to distinguish them from the rest of the background. In short, I have a lot of issues with this (not to mention the relative sizing)

Well now that that's off my chest.... I'm sure you all know I'm a sucker for the whole father-son thing so here we have Gokuh and Gohan on a little walk through the jungle. I like how Gokuh's not really a "let me smother you with loving attention" kind of father, but has a more passive, distant kind of affection and doesn't try to force his own ambitions on Gohan...at least not untill the Cell saga, but hey, that all worked out for the best right? Why can't more fathers be like Gokuh? with less of the dying.
