Just a piece to explain my long absence from DA, or rather, life in general. I've been watching One Piece non stop on YouTube all week and only just yesterday reached the most recent episode. It was insane. I mean, I was watching so much, by the end of it, I didn't even need a Franky reference. This was drawn at like 3 AM last night so it's pretty rough and seems off in a couple ways. What is Luffy even doing? The gomu gomu gattling gun or something...uh.....
Seriously though, I can't contain my joy at actually having enjoyed another anime other than Dragonball. I always knew it was my kind of thing and had been following the US release of the manga for a while but I hadn't really gotten into it cuz I'm not big on the whole get-full-anime-eps-off-the-internets thing. But since we don't really have an acceptable dub in our country, I just let it go and I'm very glad I did, of course this means I've probably sentenced myself to buying another whole colossal manga series though. I must have something for suppahhh long series, but then again, I'm not fond of Naruto. I only put two characters in because I was trying to resist my group pic tendencies, but I love all the characters. Franky is my new sunglasses guy obsession. Dang!! Why can't I be a cola powered cyborg?!! THAT'S SOOOO COOL~!!!! |

And I SO know how you feel about the "finally enjoying another anime" thing. I havent been able to really enjoy another series since I got into One Piece years ago, but I think Gaogaigar has captured my heart with its hot-blooded, shonen spirit.
