Something stupid I thought of last night. It occured to me that Luffy communicates with Nami quite a bit through his hat. I mean mostly he just gives it to her to keep it from getting damaged in a rumble, but it seems like there's more to it than that. A secret code perhaps?....

I haven't done any comics lately so this was pretty refreshing. Still not so great at drawing One Piece, but I'm really trying hard not to want to draw in Oda's exact style and use my own. Obviously I'm not trying hard enough though... I need to go back to drawing some original stuff, but my style is so booooriiiiing. Also, I keep feeling tempted to color everything I ink with the copics, which for something dumb like this is kind of wasteful.
