Well I should say this took all of 5 seconds to color cuz I couldn't really think of anything cool to do with it. Not exactly a great drawing either and I really hate to point this out about myself but I ALWAYS make Piccolo's legs too short!! Maybe it's because I make his arms too long but that's also hard to avoid with that big bulky shoulder thing. I just can't win with you can I Piccolo? Piccolo: Hell no.

So what I really wanna do is talk about how cool I think these two are. I know most people consider the Great saiyaman thing like the kiss of death to Gohan's character but I totally love it. His idea of cool is hilarious and pretty much what you would expect from a kid who's been home schooled his whole life. I would say he's one of Dragonball's most well developed characters and I really think he should've become the main character after the Cell saga. Seriously, I know we all love Gokuh but he needed to take a back seat dammit!! And growing up watching this show, Gohan was always someone you felt you could relate to because well, he was the only kid and secondly he actually had a socially acceptable future to think about!

And Piccolo! My god, I cannot tell you how much I love this guy!! His degree of badass makes Vegeta look like a whiny little punk simply because he has an actual air of authority and brains to back it up. His fight with Gokuh at the 23rd tournament was definitely one of my favorites because he is a damn brutal fighter! And with a soft side for little kids, cute huh? Yeah, by the end of the series he's pretty much reduced to the babysitter but even in that I totally respect him. I'm especially fond of his relationship with Gohan because I guess that's where we see him change the most and he has kind of a weird conflict between wanting to protect Gohan and wanting him to stand up for himself. I really love these two characters but I guess there's a bit of a difference between what you like and what you like to draw...

This is adorable! :iconawwloveplz: Awww, I love these two! ^^ Their relationship is one of the best things about DBZ, in my honest opinion. :) Good job, I love the light coloring on this drawing! I like how you talked about them in your description, too. :heart:

And Piccolo looks just fine. :D You're too hard on yourself!

That's pretty good, first for Gohan being all fearful to train Piccolo being all strict, and now they became friends later years after the Saiyans.

I love every stage of Gohan: from the little cute cry-baby kid, strongest-yet-youngest calm pre-teen warrior, silly-awkward teen, and finally to the nerdy nerd scholar adult :la: He indeed was silly as Great Saiyaman, but heck, that was the charm!! :giggle: I love him more ever since :D. I totally agree with you on he's one of DB's most well developed characters (if I'm not say the best one?), and his idea of cool was indeed too much hilarious!! :D:D:D
Piccoro absolutely is my fave mentor of the serie. He was strict, yet wise, and caring. He has every values a mentor should have!

Whatchu talking about? Piccolo looks awesome!!!! I also love Gohan's character from beginning to the end (yes, even him with his dorky glasses) and Piccolo is indeed so freaking badass, and I totally love him when he's being trolled by Trunks and Goten in the Majin Buu Saga :D
