Well, lately I've been mostly working on original art but while I was working with the nib pen I ended up drawing this based on a little project I started a while back on Arlong Park (the forum). I wanted to emphasize the linework so didn't bother much with coloring. I gotta say, as much as I like the look of pencils, this is pretty nice too. Ink gives it a real boldness and differences in line weight are more noticeable...of course I didn't do so well with that....but this is about the best I've done so far. I don't have any correction fluid so I had to fix some pretty hideous smears in photoshop, you can tell from the weird looking parts like Zoro and Sanji's hands and the lettering which is oh so stylized...

Supposed to be the Strawhat crew ten years on or so. This actually the kind of fanart I feel like an ass for making, like writing really shitty timeskip fanfiction or something. But it's not like that I swear!! I just wanted to experiment with designs and it's easier with a base! -lol, I like how they don't even look older, just like more unkempt versions of themselves. My favorites are probably balding Franky and Brook who I would only expect to get younger anyway.
