Gokuh and Luffy, yay. I know I've probably been beat to this idea a million times over but still, I just felt like doing it. I mean, maybe it's just me, but it seems like Dragonball and One Piece go together like gravy and mashed potatoes...which might actually be a bad example considering I hate mashed potatoes.... I definitely see OP as more of a spiritual successor to DB than I do Naruto even though both series had pretty heavy influence. If you like OP and not Dragonball or vice versa, then you're obviously not trying hard enough!!! Sorry, I'll shut up.
Just trying to be less lazy with coloring for once. For some reason when I scanned this the linework turned out really jagged and grainy but of course, being me, I didn't bother to rescan so yeah....sorry.
I love both One Piece and DragonBall Z! And ur right, u can't like One Piece and not like DBZ, or visa-versa. Their like father and son. Naruto is a good runner-up though. Love the pic!!!

I just can't get over Oda's art style. Something about it rubs me the wrong way, though I can't pin it down.
Interestingly enough, AG's treatment of the OP characters almost makes me want to give the series another chance. Then I remember that I still don't like the art.
I've always liked ninjas more than pirates, anyway.
Still a nice piccy, tho.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

The 0-5 Comments Issues feature a deviant as well as 3 deviations with less than 5 original comments from a wide selection of art. Please give your time to this article and to write constructive comments so that you make a true difference to the artists featured here.
